During my school day's One of our Teachers used to say " Those who sits in the Front Rows would become Doctors, Engineers, and Civil  Servants. Middle benchers will be in Government Service and Backbenchers will become Politicians and These Backbenchers will rule both Front and Middle Rows". We laughed at his statement because he was the very funny guy. We didn't take his words seriously.

The Day I stepped into the Corporate World I felt what He actually wanted to say. So True. I bet that everyone has realized this. But Nobody will accept this because we are surrounded by corporate ethics,  corporate culture,  corporate vision, corporate mission and all such types of high funda corporate words.

Now come to so-called "Bad Boy's of Corporate ". Who are they? Do They speak the filthy language?  Do They behave like a stranger to you? Let's find them.

You must have come across many people in your life, whom you thought very average,  very mediocre in their academics. Your class teachers thought that they would never shine in their career, still, they are more successful than you.

I remember one of my friends in school day's who used to study in the same class but could able to complete his education on time.  When we left the school he was in his 10th Standard. Now He is working in a reputed MNC as Vice President and earning 5 times more than me and having a more established life than me.

He used to skip classes, never very serious about his career and did all the stuff which he felt good about it. His Parents were after him for studies, Teachers spent hours to mentor him. But everybody failed. So Does He Termed as “Bad Boy's ".? Everyone will raise his hands in favor of me.

I want to cite one more example to make things clear. I had one more friend in my class who was one of the class topper, well mannered. So-called "Good Boy's" of the class. Present Scenario he is not doing anything.  He did 2 to 3 Jobs but couldn't able to succeed.  Tried his Luck in Business,  but failed.

So why this 2nd boy failed despite having Engineering Degree and Good Marks. The reason is that First Person has some Bad Elements in Lifelike:- "Go To Altitude ", "Not nice or right to everyone"
" Not think too much about what people will think". " Diplomatic Thinker". " Not to trust anybody easily ".

The above-cited Elements are not welcomed by the Society. No Business School taught these elements to you.
We have been taught about the Big Funda of Organizational Behavior, Individual Behavior, Group Dynamism
Etc. Does It really works  in dealing with day to day situation in Corporate World?

I want to share you an incident of Maruti Suzuki Plant. The company was going through the Labour unrest dispute regarding "Disparity of wages various units", " Enforcement of Japanese Culture to Indian Workers". "Restricting to form the New Labor Union ".

On 18th July 2011, the General Manager Mr. Awanish Kumar Dev was with union officials to discuss disciplinary matters alone, when he was attacked. He had no chance of escape; his attackers broke his legs, so he was trapped inside and died in the fire set by agitating workers.

He was one of the Top Hr professionals in the country. So, what went wrong ? Where does this Group Dynamism,  Leadership skills played. Nowhere it worked. He was very much confident and Trust in his Team. He didn't think agitating Mob could kill him that's why he went alone without Security guard and paid the price.

On the other side of the coin, he could have saved his life if he could go with Security. If he didn't Trust the Team whom he recruited.

We come across various situations in our professional and personal life where our close and trustworthy persons betray us. This is the well-known fact.Recently we all came across an incident Of  Mr. Vijaypath Singhania the man behind the famous apparel brand Raymonds. He has to lead a life of a bigger because he transferred all his Company's share to his Son, and his Son betrayed him.

Mr. Singhania couldn't imagine in his dream that his son would do this to him. But this is a reality of Life.  The person whom you trust, whom you like always betray you.

During Annual Appraisal process you always find some undeserved candidates get promoted to Top positions, and we wonder how he gets into it.  And your Boss always says that you are good, not extraordinary. You don't have X-factor in you that's why you have not been promoted. If you closely monitor this X factor Candidates then you will find that this X-factor Candidates went through the other way to reach the Top. The X Factor candidate took some Diplomatic and Smart Moves which took him to the next level. By using this Smart and Diplomatic Move the X factor candidate had to bring some Bad Elements from his Kitty ( which I cited in the above Paragraph). The X Factor Candidate had to defeat his colleague either by hook or by crook to reach his Destination.

  1. Nicely written. It's all about attitude and how you take decisions that matters. You have to read and judge correctly based on place and situation. It is also about good times and bad times if simply put.
